If you are a seller, you can get a free pitch at your local car boot sale thanks to CarBootSales.com!

How It Works

The car boot sales that will shortly be listed on our website will be making at least 1 free pitch available on every sale day. The free pitch will go to the first private seller who turns up, on the day of the sale. Free pitches can't be booked in advance. Traders are excluded from the offer.

The free pitch should be clearly signed with the CarBootSales.com website address and in an easily visible position, so if you're one of the first private sellers to arrive and you can't see an occupied free pitch anywhere, then make sure you talk to the organisers and claim it for yourself.

Terms & Conditions

The free pitch offer is only available to private sellers. Traders are excluded.

If you are awarded a free pitch, please make sure that the organiser has provided you with a proper advertising sign to display. The sign should have the CarBootSales.com website address in bold lettering and be clearly on view to all visitors attending the sale.

To be as fair as possible to all car booters, we ask organisers not to issue the free pitch to the same person more than once per season and try to share it out as much as possible. This shouldn't be an issue however, as most private sellers won't do more than 1-2 boots per year.

If you are offered a free pitch by mistake (because you are a trader, or have already had a free pitch that season), please tell the organiser that it should be offered to a car booter that qualifies.

Similarly, please don't try to actively claim a free pitch if you are not qualified to receive it.
